The 80th Avonworth Post 866 Community Memorial Day Parade is set for Monday, May 25, starting at 10:00 AM.

The parade will begin by proceeding to Church Avenue in Ben Avon, making a right onto Forest Avenue, and concluding at Lance Cpl. Patrick Kenny Field. Additionally, a Memorial Service honoring all servicemen and servicewomen will take place at 11:30 AM at the Ben Avon Community Presbyterian Church, located at 7501 Church Avenue, 15202.

All are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.

In a primary election, voters from the Democratic and Republican parties choose the candidates they wish to represent their parties in the general election held in November. Pennsylvania uses a closed primary system, meaning that Republican voters may only cast their votes for Republican candidates, while Democratic voters may only vote for Democratic candidates.

Kilbuck Township Municipal Building will be used as a polling site from 7:00 AM- 8:00 PM.

Creek Cleanup Series

The Allegheny Cleanways Program is hosting an environmental education and cleanup event on Saturday, April 11th at the Kilbuck Township Fish and Boat Launch, from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM. This will include water sampling lessons followed by a litter cleanup.
